Minka international network is pleased to invite you to its reflective seminar “Agroecological approach & crises”.
This seminar will bring together actors from a wide range of perspectives (cooperation, humanitarian, civil society, donor and research) and solicit the public to share experiences and identify opportunities offered by the agroecological approach to crisis management.

The seminar will explore three topics in particular:
- Is a territory that has begun its “agroecological transition” less sensitive to the impact of crisis, and can it more easily mobilize specific adaptation levers to cope with them?
- How can operators working in crisis zones draw on the principles of agroecology to intervene more effectively?
- In areas facing a major influx of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), can certain agroecological principles be mobilized to facilitate their integration?
The seminar will take place in Brussels on February 6, 2025, from 2pm to 5:30pm CEST/UTC+1 (in French only) at the Maison des Associations Internationales (Rue Washington 40, 1050 Brussels). The seminar will be followed by a reception, providing an opportunity for further discussion and conviviality ! Séminaire de réflexion : Approche agroécologique et crises
Le réseau international Minka a le plaisir de vous inviter à son séminaire de réflexion « Approche agroécologique & crises ».
Ce séminaire réunira des acteurs de tous horizons (coopération, humanitaire, société civile, bailleurs de fonds et recherche) et sollicitera le public pour partager les expériences et identifier les opportunités offertes par l’approche agroécologique dans la gestion des crises. Il explorera trois thèmes en particulier :
- Un territoire qui a entamé sa « transition agroécologique » est-il moins sensible à l’impact des crises et peut-il plus facilement mobiliser des leviers d’adaptation spécifiques pour y faire face ?
- Comment les opérateurs travaillant dans les zones de crise peuvent-ils s’inspirer des principes de l’agroécologie pour intervenir plus efficacement ?
- Dans les zones confrontées à un afflux important de personnes déplacées, certains principes de l’agroécologie peuvent-ils être mobilisés pour faciliter leur intégration ?
Le séminaire aura lieu à Bruxelles le 6 février 2025, de 14h à 17h30 CEST/UTC+1 (en français uniquement) à la Maison des Associations Internationales (Rue Washington 40, 1050 Bruxelles). Le séminaire sera suivi d’une réception qui sera l’occasion de poursuivre les discussions et la convivialité !
