Training on the Construction of Agricultural Production Tunnels on the Island of Maio

Farmers from the Island of Maio (Cape Verde) who are part of the CIRAWA project, participated in training at the Calheta Zootechnical Centre, given by the local project coordinator, Ary Lopes.

The training demonstrated how to:

  • Build agricultural production tunnels
  • Produce biopesticides

Farmers learned in practice the advantages of implementing these techniques, which are important for promoting more sustainable agriculture. It was an opportunity to share knowledge and experiences, strengthening the capacity of local farmers to innovate and adapt to local climatic conditions and produce sustainably.
