Agricultural activities contributes to around 15% of Senegal’s GDP, making it an important feature of the West African nations economy. Like many countries in this area of the world, Senegal is feeling the effects of climate change, with more erratic rainy seasons and hotter temperatures. The CIRAWA project is working with local farmers in search of agroecological solutions that could bring about positive change in the region. In this video, we hear from several farmers as well as project leaders.
